IMAGE

The bad image of the sport has always been an ongoing issue with society and the media.

FORMAT

7 Man and Race: The two most popular formats. Both have their pros and cons. What's the right answer?

TELEVISION

A game of paintball is difficult to understand even for people who play it. How can it be made more TV-Friendly?

LEAGUE

The sport of paintball appears to be at war with itself. For the sport to progress, is a two league system the right answer? Competition isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

COST

One of the biggest barriers for new players is the cost to play. What can be done to reduce the overall cost of participation?

AMBASSADORS

Paintball needs more ambassadors of the sport. Many have come and gone, and their absence is greatly felt. Who is willing to step up to the plate?

It's up to all of us to Save Paintball. When was the last time you shared the paintball experience by taking a new player to your local field? When was the last time you stopped to help a recreational player squeegee their barrel or fix their ball detents?

We know that change is possible. Change starts at home in our local communities. Community activism and participation are key components of our core philosophy. Charity starts at home. We must help our brothers and sisters before we are ready to take on the world.

The fastest way to help the sport of paintball grow is by bringing a new player to play paintball. Think about it for a second, if we all brough a new player into the sport in 2010, we would have an player increase of 4.5 million!

It is your job to carry on the legacy passed down from those who have dedicated their lives to the sport and paintball community. We cannot drop the ball here; we must pass this torch.

The solutions to all of these issues exist out there somewhere, and it's up to all of us to sort them out. Join the discussion.
